Duet, she looks and acts like her auntie Mitzi, I couldn't resist, while she was in the house (nail cutting today) I put the little pink jacket on her that was Mitzi's.  It's too big but a chilly day, she likes it.

great thing about this puppy?  we were in the family room and she jogged over to use the potty park ... keeping it in one area they know where it is.  Of course keep in mind our set up for the litter is what the puppies know, when they go home they need to get acquainted to where to go and who they can count on.

she and Davina are the smallest girls, Duet will make someone a great lap poodle, loves to be pet and cuddled.  Her auntie Mitzi loved to be on top of the couch in the sun to stay warm, I think Duet will be exactly the same, she's a clone of her auntie!  Duet is a lap and sleeping on the bed kind of puppy.  She's dainty and sweet, playful and curious.

  

now that they will be personality tested sunday, I'm spending time with them and just enjoying our little moyen puppies ... they are all so cute!  pretty soon some of the puppies will be off to their new families, I didn't mean to start taking pictures of this litter, just thought was too cute not to take pics.

Davina she's a bouncy, playful little puppy, difficult to get a picture of her, got her nails trimmed and a little photo shoot, Davina is one of the most outgoing and persistent puppies of the litter
she's the smallest ... and soooo cute!

she holds herself very well, great little body with a fun personality

 

Final details for the new owners getting their puppies

correction on getting these puppies' registration as stated below,

This litter's owners will receive their AKC registration soon after we know which puppy goes to whom, for clarity, UKC registration does not have a box to designate either limited or full registration as AKC does.

As breeders, we follow our breeding puppies and have strict requirements of puppies sold with full registration.  Full registration is an additional $1000 to the price of the puppies sold as high quality pet/companions for $1800 (which they are all high quality companions).

Joaquin and Hilde are both registered with AKC

Puppy packets will be mailed to those that won't be at personality testing

those of you out of the area, I will mail your puppy packet this week

time is getting close to pick out your puppy!

Next Sunday after the testing and we get the puppies home and settled in, I will be calling the new owner's to officiate their pick.  Once I know who's going where I will be mailing out the registrations

Six Weeks, One Day

these are bouncy, happy, sweet puppies, enjoy!

Puppies have half of the garage to play as I do this, too many foxtails outside to let them play so running, jumping and terrorizing the garage has to do.  Six weeks old, these puppies are into everything and love to nip at my shoelaces, they all want attention 100% of the time.

Davina weighed 4.5#, she's the smallest of the litter and very spunky, she loves shoelaces the most, wants to be with us every step of the way, her tummy is always full she likes to eat.  She is very outgoing for her size, she is not a shy puppy.  If it's not Davina yelling for attention it's Dandy.

 Duet, I call her 'sweet pea' she's loving and playful, gets into as much as everyone else, but can entertain herself a little bit.  She can play tough with lots of growls.  Now with her face shaved her apricot color is obvious she will be cream (just like her Auntie Mitzi), weighed 4.5#  she stays slim.

Demi she's lovely, beautiful, sweet, the largest, calmest girl, but playful and a little mischevious too.  I have to say she's the quietest puppy we have in this litter.  Demi learns fast, once she doesn't like something she usually won't do it again.  She's usually chunky from eating, likes to lay in the bowl of food just like her momma.  Hilde will put each arm around the bowl and lay down with her face in the bowl when she eats.  Demi weighed 5.5# today.  

she was asleep when I picked her up and cleaned the little eye sleep out of her eye to take this picture, she's like 'what?'  She's darling, looks and acts just like her mom, but Demi always has that tuft on the top of her head ... at this age, she naturally has bed head!

Daniella, she's a keeper, she can play rough and then ask for a hug, weighed 5# her tummy is usually full, she was the first born out of the litter and usually the first to get to where she's going.  She's not one of the loudest puppies but she is into things, watch out for wires or cords with her.

D'Angelo is kind of a tough guy ... well he likes to hump things and is the most ingenious.  He's not as rough and tumbling as Dandy or Daniella, but he's a thinker, knows what he wants and goes and gets it.  Weighed 5.5# today, he's usually slim but today has a big round tummy!  I'm starting to add more raw meat to their mix and they get dry kibble to keep those teeth sharp and teething.  D'Angelo is usually the first puppy to find a way out of things or into things.  Played with the little puppies (Tigre's four wk olds) but was too tough on them.  He looked at them like "hey it's my color, where you been hiding?"  he looked around a bit mystified, he's a smart guy.

Dmitry weighed 6# today.  He's playful and sweet, outgoing and is most dominant of the boys, but in a nice moyen poodle way, he's a sweet puppy.  He's a tiny bit darker on his ears than Drummer.

Dmitry and Drummer are like twins, I have to be careful not to confuse them.  Figured out today that Dmitry's eyes are brown and Drummer's eyes are turning brown.  If there's a cord hanging down, or a dust bunny in the corner, they are attacking it.  Davina and Drummer are the two I have to be careful not to step on, with each step they are jumping at my feet.  All of the puppies are loving and sweet.



Drummer is the most like his dad, he's sweet, kind and curious.  He's at my feet along with Davina most out of all of the puppies.  He is a tiny bit lighter than Dmitry on the ears.  He's affection and a very nice cuddly puppy with lots of kisses.  He weighed 5.5#

Dandy comes running, he's very spunky, looks up waiting for me to see hiim and then will wiggle his tail.  He's probably the most outgoing puppy and most active, he's entertaining and sweet.  weighed 5.5# today.  (only got one picture of squirmy-wormy, he's a great little guy, his eyes are still pretty blue)

As you can tell most of the puppies are 5.5#, I believe they will be their sire's size of 17 1/2".  The little girls are 4.5# and are much smaller, they will probably be 15-16 1/2", Demi the large girl could be little over 18",  Dmitry could be a little taller.  Demi is the only puppy a lot like their momma, 3/4 of the puppies are just like their dad which is awesome, easy to live with, kind and thinks for himself.  Hilde is very obedient and sweet but very fast and playful, she's perfect in every way.  Both of the puppies' parents have wonderful, fabulous calm personalities with show quality conformations, perfect for any family.  D'Angelo seems to have his own way about him, he's a throw back from Hilde's side I think, her lineage is one of the highest quality poodle breeders in the U.S.  Duet is just like her Auntie Mitzi that we love.  Davina is persistent for attention.  Dandy is the most outgoing and loves attention.  Daniella is the toughest of all of the puppies.

Picking day is Sunday the 22nd

Puppy Shavings and Pictures

Drummer

wow what a good puppy!  He just looks up at me with those sweet little eyes.  Can you see his gotee for a boy shave?  bottom and front feet are trimmed as well weight today is  4# 12oz today.
He and his brother Dmitry are awesome on the potty park too.

Dandy
yeah!  a little wiggle worm but I did keep a gotee on him, no way on the feet though!
this puppy will never double as a stuffed toy, he wants to know what you are doing and "what the heck is that doing on my jewels"!  He's a busy boy but sweet and darling.  He comes running to me every chance he has.  Dandy and his sister Davina have always had a beige tone to their cream color.  Today he weighed 5#

 hmm he says, not such a fan of this having my face, butt and feet shaved, ok, well not my feet

Dmitry
another wiggle worm, not between the toes for him!  (why the heck would you want to do that!)  He has more of a mustache than a gotee, but darling just the same.  Weighed in at 5# 1oz.  He wiggled, and licked and bit at my hand, then would roll his eyes up and look at me, like "don't bite the hand that feeds you!"  he's a smart little guy

D'Angelo

what a little gentlemen, he was a squiggly and then decided fine, I'll do what she wants, I even got his toes trimmed.  The backend was a whirl of a quick shaver.  Afterwards he got down and pranced around with La Roux.  He weighed 4# 12oz

First Face Shave

ok, this is really time consuming, shaving each puppy's face, bottom and (front) feet then play and hugs to make it a good experience.  I usually do a few a day, if your favorite isn't on here yet, will be soon

Daniella

she romped with the big poodles after her shave, little La Roux got rassled back with no problem.  Daniella weighed 4# 2oz today

Davina 

she turned all around with her head licking when shaving her bottom, when I did her front feet, she bit at  the shaver and my hand, after that, all she wanted was a hug.  Put her in the whelping box and she leaps out and ran around for a second.   Weighed 3# 13oz

Demi

 

oh my gosh for a calm puppy she is a wiggle worm ... when we were done I couldn't get a good picture of her, she kept walking forward and wiggling her tail.  Demi weighed 4# 6oz today

2nd attempt of doing her feet (no thanks) and touching up her face (much better), I got darling pictures of our little black beauty, Demi.  She is black with kisses of white on this little girl, no signs of a brown hue, looks like she and her brother D'Angelo will stay this rich black with specs of white.

Bunch of Happy Puppies

They are barking, figuring out the hiearchy, sweet, fluffy, wagging tails, eating softened Eukanuba puppy kibble mixed with raw dog food, up and down on the potty park, really great puppies!

Their hair is getting so fluffy I can barely see who exactly they are, in person?  

easy to know who they are by the way they interact with me and their siblings.

 puppies are well contained in the safe zone, the little puppies are starting to jump out of the whelping box, the little girl was playing with Davina through the links, it's cute around here, they are all doing great.  Everybody got wormed on friday, adults, puppies big and small.

they love to poke their heads through the chain link and chirp-chirp-chirp then back out and either do it again or go play.  That's Daniella on top of D'Angela, Davina has her head in the link... they are cute!

the flooring has come late, will get it this week, they have lots of room, the weather has been in the 90s, this week probably 70-80.  Hoping to get them outside on the dirty for the first time, they're growin!
