Duet

as a summary for the girls, Demi is the calmest and largest of the girls, she's very sweet, much like her momma.  Davina is more playful than Duet.  I have to check to see that it's Davina, she carries herself like the boys, she has a perfect square little body.  Duet checks into how she feels about things, she's thinks, she's small boned and took a while to warm up after her bath.  Daniella is busy looking into things.

D'Angelo

Dmitry

also didn't want to hold still for a picture, he and Dmitry gives the most kisses and are the busiest

as a summary for the boys... I'd say Drummer is the calmest of the boys but not shy, sensitive like his dad, he's usually the first to get where he's going, so is Dmitry.  Dmitry is the most playful and the largest, I'd say the most outgoing.  Dandy has the most eye contact very busy guy, happy, he stops and thinks before going forward, D'Angelo is always playing and attentive of his surroundings, sometimes he thinks about what's going on, sometimes he just goes.

the puppies at almost five weeks are starting to show personality traits, however, the above summary is just an observation and not any kind of testing, the puppies will be "tested" for the Volhard aptitude testing on May 22nd when their owners will make their pick for which puppy they call their forever companion.  This is the "D" litter ... the Dancing litter, their nicknames above are from dancer names.  see "older blogs" for their nickname descriptions.  These puppies are AKC registered with the name "Barefoots D"  the new owners can pick out their official name and call name that we hope they will keep a "D" name.  All puppies will have their registrations sent after they have been spayed/neutered with a copy sent to me when they are about 6-12 months old.  These are show quality poodles but so far no one plans on showing them in the conformation ring, I hope some might title them in rally, obedience, etc. whatever they like to do together to have a strong and loving bond with their lifetime companion.
