Nicknames

Have you wondered where the nicknames came from?  We alphabetize each litter, this litter was the "D" litter.  We also give the litter a "theme" this litter is the "Dance" litter.  For weeks I searched on dancing names ... Dancing with the Stars, So you think you Can Dance, Live to Dance ... etc.

"Daniella" is a famous Jazz Dancer "Graciela Danielle"
"Drummer" was a sneak in, OFA has a OFA “Champion of Health” each month, which "Drummer" was chosen for January 2011, since that's what we believe in and do, thought we just had to borrow the name.
"D'Angelo" named after a great couple of young dancer named D'Angelo and Amanda from Live to Dance, child stars, they are great little ball room dancers.
"Demi" is named from Anna Demidova from Dancing with the Stars
"Dandy" named from Leon Danelion a famous ballet dancer
"Davina" was chosen by Jim, I said ok, if it's a girl what do you want to call her?  he said "Davina".  Named from Davina a professional Chris Brown's dancer
"Duet" is a favorite of mine.  On new years eve Jim and I went to a Winery Party, I won the dance off and bought a now favorite wine called "Duet", so that's how we got the name Duet.
"Dmitry" is a favorite of dancing with the stars, he's again on this seasons and a beautiful dancer.


so that's where we got the nicknames... the puppies will be infamous I just know!
