Puppy Update

my camera is not cooperating this morning, recharging batteries should be charged tomorrow,

took off their little bandages on their dewclaws, or now, where the dewclaws once were

weighed them and hugged them, Hilde was there while I took off their bandages, they would whimper taking it off and she would soften her eyes and then kiss them and nurse them, they were fine.  Sound a sleep now.

weights in birth order:
Daniella born at 10.5oz, today weighs 15oz
Drummer was 10.6 at birth, today he's 1#3oz
D'Angelo born was 9.8oz, today he's 15oz
Demi was born at 9.8oz, today she's 1# even
Dandy #5 puppy, weighed in at 10.4oz at birth, today 1#2oz
Davina, the smallest puppy of this litter, was 7.7oz, today 14oz
Duet weighed in 7.9oz at birth, today is 15oz
Dmitry, the largest puppy at birth, today 1#2oz

they are doing well, momma's milk is in, they are starting to mouth each other's leg, they only know to suckle but are starting to get chummy with their siblings.  Duet and Demi like the heating pad the best.  Puppies need to stay about 82 degrees, no drafts.  They sleep 90% of the time and eat the rest.  This morning Hilde was rolled over onto her back, I think to let her tummy dry out a little, she's constantly damp with little mouths suckling.  They fall asleep hanging onto their momma.

Beautiful, gorgeous, great little puppies, they are getting use to me handling them and will snuggle and relax right away today, they will be, and are, very loved, well socialized puppies.
